Winning at the LIT Lighting Design Awards is always special. Getting to celebrate it in Paris, surrounded by some of the world’s leading lighting designers, made it even more memorable.
This year’s event wasn’t just about collecting our winner certificate. Damien McKay took to the stage as one of the LIT Fire Talks speakers, presenting our award-winning King Street Residence, London project to an audience of fellow designers, manufacturers and industry professionals.
The event also marked another proud milestone for Antumbra. In just our first two years as an independent lighting design practice, we’ve now received five LIT Lighting Design Awards. It’s an achievement that reflects the trust our clients place in us and the passion our team brings to every project.
Sharing the thinking behind a project with a room full of lighting experts is a different kind of pressure, but also one of the most rewarding parts of the event. It was a fantastic opportunity to talk about our design approach and be part of the conversations that make the LIT Awards much more than just an awards ceremony.
Of course, there was still plenty of time to celebrate, catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and enjoy a little of what Paris had to offer.
